Alyssa is a fine artist and conceptual photographer based in Norfolk, Virginia. She holds a BFA in photography from Longwood University in Farmville, VA. Alyssa uses photography as an outlet for storytelling, often cinematic in nature. She uses digital, film, and/or historical photographic processes depending on the story being told. She creates staged, surreal events, often using literary or historical references to further convey this false reality.
